I shall finally blog! :D After so many many days. I've been either really busy, or I haven't had the mood to sit down and recall everything that happened so far. Sorry my dear blog, for neglecting you :x
Anyways, prelims finally ended. It was really tiring, and I always end up getting all frustrated and annoyed at the fact there was a paper the next day. Studying so much can be a huge headache, especially when you hardly have the time to take a breather - without feeling threatened by the fact that this is the actual prelims. No more mock prelims or class tests, but the actual papers. Damn, no wonder I felt so irritated.

I finally got my new iPhone! :) I queued on the 23rd, the Saturday after it was officially launched in Singapore. The queue wasn't very long (probably because everyone already got theirs on the first day). I don't think it was extremely fantastic, reason being there were some boo-boos in some areas. For example. you can't use Bluetooth to send or receive songs from an iPhone. It's quite annoying even. Also, you cannot use your iPhone as a bluetooth remote controller. Instead, you have to go through the hassle of creating an ad-hoc network, and connecting both your PC and iPhone on the same network. After that, you need to download a software called WinVNC. On top of that, it's not very smooth. Quite... frustrating too.
But I guess the User Interface was rather Apple-style. Very colourful, and plenty of eye candy. It's Apple's product after all, and definitely won't fall short of the surface aspects. It's quite fun after you jailbreak it though - given the multitude of applications available for you to flood your iPhone with. I did so much crazy things I created some problems even. Luckily I happened to chance upon the file causing all the problems, and ta-da, it's working again.
Overall not a fantastic phone, but definitely a phone with a wide-enough screen and awesome colours. If you're considering to get one, take note that the 16gb White models are known to have cracks. Other than that, enjoy your iPhone if you're getting one :)

I just had such a
terrible experience on the bus ride home, I'm still unable to contemplate how it was even possible.
No I'm not joking, I'm extremely, ultimately shocked.
First, there were these bunch of 5 I don't know what to call them. I want to be nice and call them '5 guys', but they weren't the least bit like that. Their hairstyles were impossible to believe - the weirdest, most girlish hairstyle a guy can have. Some used hairclips to clip their hair, one used a hairband and tried to imitiate a female's way of hair-management. There was one even worse, he did some extreme rebonding and treatment of some kind that results in your hair sticking to your face, those long long side-burns. I cannot describe properly how it was like, because it was simply ridiculous.
Oh then there was one whose laughter sounded like some sick hyena. It didn't even sound human! It was okay if it sounded like a girl's, seeing as they were trying to act as girls. They weren't even close to doing so though! He laughed so retardedly I cannot help but feel pity for him.
Oh and they spouted out really sensitive profanities right in the bus, at almost top voice. They were in their own world, and regarded themselves as kings. Unbelievable!
Ugh, the thought of those..
makes me want to puke already. I shall move on to the second unbelievable incident.
Kenny (Ng) and myself were sitting right at the very back, with us occupying both sides. There were plenty of seats infront. Do try to visualise this, you'll find how amusing it really is. We were talking about things, with one seat gap empty between us. After talking talking, some really irritating man came to sit RIGHT SMACK IN THE MIDDLE OF BOTH OF US. Kenny and I were facing each other even. It was like so darn obvious we're having a conversation.
HE JUST SMILED AND SAT DOWN. I was totally flabbergasted.
It didn't end there. Once in awhile, he would turn to either of us, and
STARE INTENTLY AT US. What? Too handsome for you to comprehend?! He was like some sick pervert trying to eye on teenagers or something. I couldn't believe it at all!
And I thought today was a good day, with Maths being relatively manageable and all. What happened to Singapore?!

Okay! I shall spend the time
not-wisely, and instead recount on what happened on Monday. That tragic day, where I fell victim to the horrible aches in the lower portion of my body. My stomach! (don't think too far! :D)
I had this terrible food poisoning, which probably resulted from the rojak combination of Laksa + Curry, one meal after another. It's no wonder my stomach couldn't take it.

But what's done is done, isn't it? Why torture me for the whole morning, even haunting me after I took several large cups of warm water. I already tried to make you feel better, why threaten to make me ill for the exams! ):
Anyway, I went to the doctor for a diagnosis, and medicine. He told me it was food poisoning (yeah I already knew that), and told me it was
mild. Okay, so mild food poisoning left me running to and fro the toilet for approximately twenty times. Yes,
TWENTY. So what's severe food poisoning? I should stay in the toilet for the whole day? Hahaha. While I was trying to contemplate the ... mild severity of my food poisoning, I gave in to the necessity for my toilet break again - as if I haven't had enough breaks already!
In the end, I failed to do as much intensive research as I had originally planned to. I don't know if it was a blessing in disguise, because out of the twelve essay questions today, I could do
zero. Even if I had studied intensively as planned, I might not have been able to do well for the paper anyway. I'm taking things positively! :) The paper was so
damn easy, to fail. :D
So I'm having Econs H2 P1 tomorrow, which means two case-studies. I absolutely
"love" case-studies so much I always fail to pass. (Explain why the author used inverted commas in the word 'love'.) I have simply no idea why I'm so incompetent in that area, and that's what usually pulls my grades down, sadly. At least I've also taken things into the positive light :) It's just the prelims after all, it's just the prelims after all, it's jus the prelims after all - yes I'm self-disillusioned.
I don't know why I'm so excited about blogging so much today; it's probably due to the over-studying syndrome (OSS) I'm suffering from. It's a new term I coined recently, for me, myself, and I. (Don't JJCians just love how I apply my GP knowledge so well? :P) For those who are blur to this, the above few sentences are actually something related to our GP paper today, and I just found that passage so interesting I'm beginning to apply the ideas into my life.

... at least for now, until I get the opportunity to expand my social life and open up to my other half :)
Well anyway, I think I've blogged more than enough. I shall just head to sleep without any confidence in tomorrow's paper, and the following day shall be the same. My life is beginning to become so interesting :) All the best people, for the following papers. Sleep early and take care of your healths! :D
